Baseball Tomorrow Fund

DescriptionThe Fund, a joint initiative between Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, promotes the growth of baseball in the United States and throughout the world. The Fund’s grantmaking is targeted toward programs that encourage youth participation in both baseball and softball. It funds programs, fields, coaches’ training, and the purchase of uniforms and equipment. Successful applications demonstrate a high ratio of confirmed matching funds; a minimum match of 50 percent is generally required for further consideration. The average BTF grant awarded is $39,000. Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis. Additional information including an online application can be found on the Web site.
