Support Our Aging Religious

DescriptionThe Organization was established to raise public awareness of the religious retirement crisis among Catholic religious congregations in the United States; to network with concerned laity; and to provide financial resources to religious communities to assist them in taking care of their elderly members. The program awards grants to congregations across the country in its areas of interest including emergency needs, therapeutic and medical equipment, and adequate and safe housing for retirement. Religious orders with retired, aged, and infirm members at the community, diocesan, or regional level may apply for funds to assist with an immediate retirement need. Priority is given to requests for a particular need, inadequate community resources to address that critical need, and the long-term impact of the award.
