Description

The Company, which specializes in diversified financial services, is accepting applications under its three philanthropic funding platforms, Meeting Basic Needs, Supporting Community Vitality, and Volunteer Driven Causes. The mission of the Company’s Community Relations program is to use resources and talents to improve the lives of individuals and build strong communities. Meeting Basic Needs grants support programs and services that help at-risk populations stabilize their lives and become more self-sufficient. Of interest are programs that help provide food, shelter, and self-sufficiency. Supporting Community Vitality grants support programs and services that build strong communities by creating economic vitality and cultural enrichment. Funding interests include community development, cultural enrichment, civic leadership, disaster response and recovery, and environmental awareness. Volunteer Driven Causes grants allow Ameriprise employees, advisors, and retirees to help determine where and how a portion of the grants is directed.
