1675 Foundation

The Foundation, founded in 2004 upon the termination of the Oxford Foundation, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families through the support of nonprofits working in the areas of arts and culture, education, the environment, health, human services, and history. Priority is given to organizations serving Philadelphia and Chester Counties in southeastern Pennsylvania and other geographic areas of interest to the Trustees. Grants are made for capital campaigns, general operating support, endowment, and special projects. Complete applications are considered at meetings that are usually scheduled for December and May. Applications must be postmarked by October 1 to be considered for the December meeting, and by March 1 for consideration at the May meeting. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
