The White Envelope Project

Description

The Project, founded by four Atlanta siblings in their 20s, the organization is dedicated to developing the next generation of givers, civic leaders, and philanthropists. The Project’s programs educate youth and young adults about charitable giving, inspire them to act, and provide them with tools, information, and resources to make a difference in the lives of others. The Project’s annual Catalog of Giving features unique giving opportunities at approximately 25 national and local charities each year. This program is available at no cost to selected charities and is funded by the Project’s donors and sponsors. The catalog is published in both print and electronic formats, and has been featured in local, national, and international media outlets including Women’s Day magazine. Charities meeting the criteria listed on the Web site can apply to be featured in the 2010 edition, which will be distributed starting Nov. 1, 2009. Applications will be accepted online between May 1, 2009 and June 10, 2009 for the 2010 edition. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
