Category: Regional
DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of the state of Oregon by supporting arts and education. The Foundation is interested in making single or multi-year grants to nonprofits and government agencies that advance the arts or education, including libraries and museums. Arts grants focus on enhancing programming and audience building; financial capacity and stability development; and a limited number of essential capital projects. Education grants are awarded to K-12 and higher education institutions. They focus on strengthening or lifting the level of student achievement and success; and a limited number of capital projects that favorably impact student achievement. The Foundation favors projects from organizations whose basic mission is arts or education, not projects that are related to arts and education from organizations whose primary mission is in other fields. Application guidelines and forms are available on the Web site.
