Description

The oil Corporation’s charitable giving supports educational institutions, the environment, civic programs, and the arts. Under education, the Corporation is committed to equipping children around the world with the tools and skills necessary to succeed. Grants are awarded to both K-12 schools and colleges/universities. The Corporation also supports the National Energy Education Development project that allows K-12 teachers to learn about key energy topics. Environmental grants promote programs that encourage innovation and conservation. Grants for civic programs and the arts support activities that improve the quality of life for people living in the communities in which the Corporation operates. The Corporation also supports many museums, foundations, and exhibits worldwide. Organizations in Company operating areas of Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming are eligible to apply. Online applications are available on the Web site between June 1 and August 1.
