Christensen Fund

Description

The Fund supports nonprofits and public institutions in the areas of visual arts and conservation science as well as educational institutions with those two programs. Visual arts grants support acquisitions and research related to acquisitions; exhibitions and related activities such as publications and outreach; collections management, preservation/conservation; and public educational programs. The science program institutional research ad comprehensive graduate and postgraduate educational programs directed toward regions of greatest need. Educational grants support equipment and materials acquisition for new and existing programs; seed funding for new programs with potential long-term viability; program development and/or expansion of specific projects and programs; and curriculum development. Organizations in the Greater Southwestern United States, Mexico, Turkey, Iran, Central Asian, Ethiopia, Northern Australia, and Melanesia are eligible to apply. Applicants must apply using the Fund’s online inquiry form.
