Description

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on Florida environmental issues. Topics of special interest include comprehensive planning and growth management, conservation of land and wildlife resources, and energy conservation and renewable resource development. In addition, the Foundation also funds projects related to environmental health, the preservation of biological diversity, pollution prevention and toxics use reduction, sustainable development, and the protection of coastal and fresh water ecosystems. Of particular interest are the state’s smaller environmental organizations and projects that will primarily benefit the state and its inhabitants. Support for projects that contribute to the long-term development and stabilization of small and large organizations will be favored. National or regional organizations seeking to establish programs of primary benefit to Florida will also be considered. Additional information can be found on the Web site. Concept papers may be submitted at any time. The deadline is for full proposals. The Foundation maintains two mailing address, one for correspondence and inquiries and one for concept papers and proposals.
