DescriptionThe Foundation was founded by the CEO of the Coca-Cola Company to support charitable, scientific, and educational activities. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: K-12 and higher education; health care and health education; human services, particularly for children and youth; economic development and civic affairs; art and cultural activities; and conservation of natural resources and environmental education. Grants are generally limited to tax exempt public charities and selected governmental agencies located and operating in Georgia. However, public charities outside of the state are considered when it’s demonstrated that the proposed program or project will have particular impact in Georgia and the project fits within the Foundation’s program interests.
