Description

Bob Barker, the retired host of “The Price Is Right,” created this Foundation to curb the problem of animal overpopulation. Named for his late wife, Dorothy Jo, and his mother, Matilda (Tilly) Valandra, both of whom loved animals, the Foundation’s grantmaking is focused on low-cost spay/neuter clinics and voucher programs as a way to relieve canine overpopulation. Of particular interest are grassroots programs that provide low-cost or free spay/neuter services or voucher programs. The Foundation does not fund the neutering of dogs housed in shelters; adoption, rescue, or sanctuary programs; foster care; or the neutering of cats. Grant applications may be downloaded from the Web site.
