Saul And Dayee G. Haas Foundation
Category: Regional
DescriptionThe Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for needy secondary school students in communities throughout the state of Washington. Funds are targeted toward programs that encourage students to stay in school, return to school if they’ve dropped out, or get involved within their learning community. Grants are awarded to public, private, parochial, faith-based, and single-gender secondary schools, which in turn distribute them to individual secondary school students. The Foundation defines secondary school as middle, junior high, or high school, that targets grades six through 12. Grades 6 through 8 or 6 through 12 in K-8 or K-12 schools are eligible to apply.
