: General

Description

The Foundation’s purpose is to provide seed money to start-up and new projects within existing organizations for a maximum of three to five years. It funds projects that enable economically challenged women to enter and remain the workplace; environmental research that will help prevent, reduce, and/or eliminate water degradation; music as education and preserver of culture; research into prevention and treatment of childhood illnesses; and programs that enable youth to think, create, and communicate effectively. Grants in the economically challenged women area fund on-site daycare centers for working women, job training programs, and language and leadership skills. Additional information including an online application is available on the Web site.
