Description

The Fund’s focuses its grantmaking on a lifelong concern by the founders on the following areas: the environment; a strong connection to the local San Francisco community and California; a dedication to reproductive rights and stabilizing global population; and a deep and unwavering commitment to the Jewish people and Israel. Only projects or organizations that fit within the Fund’s stated areas of interest may submit a letter of inquiry. The Fund does not accepted unsolicited letters of inquiry in the areas of strengthening civic institutions in the San Francisco Bay area, Israeli universities, or special projects. It will not fund organizations that are anti-Semitic, those that question Israel’s right to exist, or are biased against the state of Israel. Letters of inquiry may be submitted via mail or e-mail. There are no deadlines. Additional information is available on the Web site including instructions about the letter of inquiry.
