DescriptionThe Foundation awards a limited number of Capital Grants annually to community-based, publicly supported, private nonprofits in Arkansas, Nevada, and Oklahoma. The Foundation's Capital Grants are earmarked for programs that offer extraordinary potential for a transformational impact on the applicant organization and the community it serves. Applicants are expected to have completed appropriate organizational, financial, and facilities planning before applying. The Foundation will be the sole donor for the capital project, but will require some matching community support. Projects can include the new construction of an entire building; addition(s) to an existing structure; and renovations to an existing structure in conjunction with substantial addition(s). The deadline is to request application packets. The application deadline is July 29, 2005.
