DescriptionThe Foundation seeks to support new and proven initiatives that bring people and pets together for mutual benefit and support. Funding is awarded nationwide to promote and financially support service-oriented canine programs such as service dogs, therapy dogs, animal assisted therapy, search and rescue dogs, police, fire and military dogs, and other innovative canine service programs. The Foundation does not fund spay/neuter programs or operating expenses for adoption shelters or rescue programs. The maximum grant is $10,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
