Organic Farming Research Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation’s Education and Outreach grants program funds the development of educational opportunities and materials that are pertinent to organic agricultural production or marketing. The program is aimed at organic producers and/or those considering making the transition to organic certification. The Foundation will also accept proposals to fund activities that promote information sharing among organic agricultural researchers and organic farmers and ranchers. Of particular interest are proposals which have realistically achievable objectives that can be accomplished with a modest level of funding. Projects developed with Foundation funds must be available for free or for a minimal cost to cover production expenses. A list of funding topics is available on the Web site. The Foundation requests that applicants send eight copies of the proposal. Faxed and emailed proposals will not be accepted
