Precision Metalforming Association Educational Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on education, training, career awareness, and public image initiatives that promote or enhance metalforming through a variety of workforce development programs and services. The Foundation’s primary goals include building alliances to meet the industry’s training and education needs; developing models, products, and services to address the industry’s educational and workforce development needs; and providing and selling systems, services, and resources to address the industry’s need for improved productivity. In addition, the Foundation also seeks to increase awareness that metalforming career opportunities are dynamic, attractive, and financially rewarding. It is also interested in ensuring that there are adequate resources in both membership and funding to appropriately address mission and goals. The Foundation has two funding cycles each year: March 1 and October 1. A grant request application form can be found on the Web site.
