James Irvine Foundation
The Foundationís Creative Connections Fund supports creativity and the expansion of diverse, relevant cultural offerings in local communities across California. The Fund seeks to reach small and mid-size arts organizations with a diversity of projects and ideas. The Fund offers project grants of up to $50,000 over one or two years, through an open competitive review process. Tax-exempt applicants must be located in California, receive no more than 50 percent of revenues from government sources, and have annual revenues of at least $100,000. Those without nonprofit status must have an established relationship with one of the following fiscal sponsors: Community Partners, the Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment, the San Francisco Foundation Community Initiative Funds, or the Tides Center.
