DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of BJ’s Wholesale Club, a membership-based warehouse club found in 16 states. The Foundation’s mission is to enhance and enrich community programs that primarily benefit children and families. The majority of the Foundation’s giving is targeted toward promoting the safety, security, and the well-being of children and families; supporting education and health programs; providing community service opportunities; and aiding in hunger and disaster relief. Programs must positively impact communities where BJ’s Clubs are located. Organizations in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Virginia are eligible to apply. Additional information can be found on the Web site. Proposals should include a brief description of no more than two pages outlining the funding request and the amount of money requested.
