ARCUS FOUNDATIONThe Foundation has two funding interests: programs and organizations supporting the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community and the Foundation’s Great Apes Fund. FRONTLINE AIDS The Organization's Emergency Response grant is designed to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people or men who have sex with men, who are struggling to get urgent access to HIV services. Activities that the grant supports include relocation of premises following forced eviction of community-based organizations or service providers that support LGBT people and their access to HIV services; post-violence psychosocial support; proving urgent HIV medication, and emergency safety measures for individuals or service providers that ensure access to HIV services can continue.

FUND FOR TRANS GENERATIONSThe Fund, housed at Borealis Philanthropy, is committed to providing rapid-response funding to trans-led organizations responding to emerging needs in their communities. The Fund knows that the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, is still disproportionately impacting trans community, especially Black and Indigenous people of color, and sick and disabled communities; the elderly, migrants, sexual assault survivors, sex workers, and people with low-income, as well as those living at the intersections.
