CONTROLLER

We are seeking a new Controller for our client Read to Them, who is celebrating 20 years as a growing nonprofit that believes in the transformational power of reading aloud to children. They bolster personal and academic success through a rich reading strategy that forges lasting partnerships across families, schools, and their communities. The One School, One Book program offers flexible, ready-made tools and resources for individual schools, districts, and states. Read to Them programs have been implemented in 3,000+ schools, reaching more than 2.4 million students in the United States!

The Controller is hands-on and responsible for managing the finances of the organization, including budgets, taxes, payroll, investments, receivables, and payables according to accepted accounting practices and applicable law. This key member of the Read to Them team reports to the Executive Director and manages the accounting staff.
