JOB DESCRIPTION |
Our Fundraising Specialist (also known internally as Advancement Services Senior Specialist) works hard to coordinate annual internal and external fundraising appeals and works collaboratively with Stark State's Advancement team to administer and manage the Stark State College Foundation (Foundation) finances. This position will serves as a liaison between recipients and donors, and will need to have impeccable customer service and follow through skills.
Salary: $64,823.00 - $84,270.00 Annually

Typical Hours of Work: Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for gift processing and Foundation financial records, maintains confidentiality of donors and records.
- Supervises all operations of Raiser's Edge database including training of staff.
- Calculates annual scholarship awards as directed by the Finance Committee and notifies the appropriate administrator of awards and amounts.
- Manages Annual Fund Campaign Appeals including the Faculty Staff Annual Fund Appeal and assists with Community Appeal.
- Utilizes Raiser's Edge Intelligence data to effectively identify potential donors and works strategically with the team members to ensure a team approach to Advancement and support of the College Strategic Plan.
- Creates reports for donors, the annual audit, as well as federal and state required reports.
- Manages financial and other reporting responsibilities for Foundation in conjunction with the Comptroller and the Business Office.
- Assist with Alumni Relations and activities as appropriate.

To be Considered You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of experience in fundraising, resource management, or related field.
- Strong project management, communication, organizational, bookkeeping/accounting, and computer skills.
