We are looking for a Marketing and Communications/Creative Specialist that will execute on the strategic and creative presence of St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho. This individual will oversee the brand, internal and external communications channels, social media and other marketing activities. We have 50 employees, who fundraise, manage programs and deliver services. We also have volunteers and a Board of Directors. 

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Strong Passion for nonprofit work and making a difference
  • 1+ years in a professional Marketing role or a Marketing portfolio in lieu of experience
  • Works well independently with unstructured problems
  • Naturally creative and a strong copywriter
  • Technologically proficient and competent (computers, zoom, etc.)
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Open to new challenges, opportunities, tasks and projects
  • Experience with Google My Business, Google AdWords, and website management and


  • Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Affects), Instagram, and YouTube is a plus    
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus
  • Experience with content creation (paid and organic reach)
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers
  • Collaborates well with a team, works independently and flexibly, and has great attention to


  • Has compassion for others, friendly demeanor
  • Bachelors in Marketing or equivalent fields


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, set and enhance the brand standard for St. Vincent de Paul
  • Manage social media planning and execution
  • Facilitate the content and maintenance of the organization's website
  • Work with SEO and Google Ad Words to increase visibility and exposure for the organization.
  • Create compelling testimonials and stories from current events and archives.
  • Create all signage and messaging for the organization
  • Create program manuals and fundraising materials for the organization
  • Preferred photography and/or videography skills
  • Perform other tasks or duties as assigned
