Job Description

The Adult Skills Center is looking for an incredible candidate to serve as a BCBA for our unique organization. Programs offered include; ILS/SLS services, Community Integration Training (CIT), and Specialized Therapeutic Services (STS). Clients of TASC may exhibit challenging behaviors and other difficulties. To help those with intensive needs there is the STS program. It is the only program of its kind in California. A great opportunity for a BCBA to work with a new and more diverse population! It's a wonderful opportunity to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team including Clinical Psychologists, therapists, nurses, psychiatric technicians, and many others. There are also opportunities for growth and development including research, expanding to other departments and industries, and creating new endeavors!

BCBA designs and supervises ABA-based programs for adults with developmental disabilities leaving developmental centers. Clients will have mental health concerns and, in some cases, prior involvement in the criminal justice system.

Primary duties include: This position requires strong case management skills, Communicating with clients and their entire support team including homes, funding sources, and the internal and external treatment team •Conducting skills assessments and functional behavior assessments• Designing and modifying individualized treatment plans • Leading bi-weekly to monthly team meetings • Developing goals and conducting staff training• Preparing reports• Attending planning meetings• Training and collaboration with staff and other service providers. TEAM WORK with professionals from other disciplines is essential • Training, supervising, and evaluating behavior therapists

Qualifications: • Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field• Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing• At least 1-year experience providing ABA-based treatment to adults with developmental disabilities • Experience conducting skills assessments and functional behavior assessments• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with strong organizational skills• Ability to work well as part of a team, with other disciplines

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
