JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is for US & Canada markets.  This position is a unique opportunity for the right person who has nurtured a solid network in the Nonprofit space, with a proven track record of expanding into new markets through marketing and sales strategies.  You have experience in the talent development, education or learning space and can develop new partnerships that generate revenue for our suite of services.  You have experience developing and gaining alignment to new business cases and the strategic direction.

We are looking for a Director of New Markets who can:

  • Prospect for new business
  • Generate sales leads via networking, cold calls, referral marketing and occasionally internal leads
  • Get past gatekeepers and reach decision-makers
  • Introduce prospective clients to our talent development products and services
  • Establishes and develops relationships with prospects with the goal of transitioning them into clients
  • Travel throughout North America at least 25-50 days annually to meet with potential clients, build relationships, and represent CUES at industry events

This job might be for you if:

You have a strong customer orientation with experience in new business development in the nonprofit or association space, have a balanced approach, and ability to interact with staff and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  And, you have at least 5 years of Nonprofit/Social Profit experience. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, move fast, and learn together with a highly motivated team.  We need someone who is persistent and loves getting to know new people.  Someone who is not afraid to host events, lead conversations and have the hard talk when needed.
