The County of Los Angeles – Chief Executive Office invites resumes for:

Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Strategic Integration

Salary Range: $197,278.08 - $298,596.63 Annually

The Chief Executive Office is the central executive, strategic, and administrative agency driving transformative change to improve the lives of our diverse constituents. We lead collective efforts with other departments to achieve priorities established by our Board regarding affordable housing, sustainability, economic development, healthcare integration, homelessness, child protection, justice reform, and women and girls’ initiatives. As the administrative agency responsible for the County’s $32 billion budget, we handle specialized functions to lead and maximize the use of County assets; advocate our position on State and federal agendas; lead and implement the Countywide Strategic Plan; implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial loss; and convey our message through a variety of communication platforms.

The Opportunity:

The Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Strategic Integration serves in an executive leadership role providing technical expertise to the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and other County department heads by leading the implementation of special initiatives that represent the Board's highest priorities, finding opportunities to advance existing County resources, and identifying new opportunities for partnership in order to support the Board in their efforts to drive better outcomes for the Los Angeles County population.

Minimum Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree with either five years of experience in a highly responsible managerial capacity or three years as an executive level manager. Experience must include building effective collaborative partnerships while working in a large and complex agency and directing the work of subordinate managers engaged in project management, program planning, and implementation of services related to vulnerable populations, strategic planning, and data initiatives.
