Outstanding training opportunity in one of healthcare’s hottest fields!

If you haven’t heard of ETO, you will soon . . .  It’s a fast-growing specialty within the healthcare space that focuses on metrics and analytics surrounding patient outcomes relative to social services, medical, and palliative care interventions.  It’s such a new field, in fact, that very few people even know about it, and MPTF (Motion Picture and Television Fund)—a legend in the entertainment industry—is looking for a part-time superstar to join our team!

The position is scheduled to work 24 hours / 3 days per week but is eligible for full benefits.  And if you’re a Data, Systems, or Database Analyst looking to augment your current working hours or even a computer science student looking to broaden your skills in the healthcare arena, consider joining us in this unique and exciting role.

The ETO Analyst is responsible for developing, improving, and upgrading custom queries and reports from internal databases and web-based applications. Your focus as an ETO Analyst will be on measuring and reporting on the progress and performance of MPTF’s programs and services, including the delivery and impact of social, medical, and financial services provided to MPTF community members.  You’ll create and author custom queries and reports while working closely with operational leaders, medical staff, and executives to track healthcare interventions and outcomes.

You’ll also provide training and ongoing technical support to end users using the ETO database and related software. Likewise, you’ll be responsible for executing software upgrades, developing ETO user manuals and training materials, and implementing and adapting new software functionalities relating to MPTF’s ongoing needs.

MPTF has a beautiful campus in Woodland Hills—40 acres of lush green scape nestled against the mountains on Mulholland Drive—and our mission is to “Take Care of Own”—those entertainment industry workers and retirees and their families who live on campus or throughout the community.  As a healthcare nonprofit, we offer on-campus services, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, and behavioral health.  Whether the talent is in front of or behind the camera, they have a home here at MPTF, and our community outreach services include Social Services and Safe-at-Home programs and so much more.  We’re a special organization with a heart and a golden mission, and we’re looking for a talented IT-focused individual who’d like to become part of our narrative and our future.

Requirements for this position include SAP Business Object query writing in Web Intelligence 4.0 or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, especially in computer science, social services, or a related field.  Teamwork and teambuilding skills are critical to this position, as you’ll be working in close collaboration with team members in Social Services, clinical, and patient and resident care. Most important, we’re hoping to find someone with a healthy sense of curiosity and an analytical ability to review raw data with an eye toward trends, patterns, and outcomes that are predictive of clinical success.

We know your next job is important to you.  Consider MPTF as your employer of choice to grow your career and help you focus on your professional development. Oh, and we have a tuition reimbursement program to support your certification as an ETO guru! If this sounds like the right opportunity at the right time, we’d love to hear from you.
