Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network is seeking a Senior Accountant. This position will be responsible for performing all processes related to financial analysis, State and Federal reporting, and reconciling the practice management system to the general ledger and all other related transactions. In addition, the Senior Accountant will answer financial questions by researching and interpreting data. The Senior Accountant will promote Oakland Integrated Healthcare Network services by completing reports and special projects while maintaining strong internal and external relationships. In addition, the Senior Accountant works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high quality health care to residents and the community.


EDUCATION: The Senior Accountant will have a minimum of a Bachelorís Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field is required.

Experience: The Senior Accountant will have a minimum of three to five years of health care accounting experience in a complex health care system. A working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing the operations of a health-care facility along with experience working with Medicare and Medicaid and other managed care concepts is required. Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers is strongly preferred. Experience in cost reporting a huge plus.

Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Michigan driverís license.
