Crossroads Fund

DescriptionThe Fund supports organizations in the Chicago metropolitan area that are doing social change work. The Fund defines social change work as “people in communities organizing together to change the conditions, institutions, and policies that create and maintain inequality and oppression.” Projects of interest include cross-issue organizing, grassroots leadership, and social change work. Two funds share the March deadline: the Seed Fund and the Technical Assistance Fund. The Seed Fund supports new, emerging, and small community-based organizations that are actively engaged in social change work. The Technical Assistance Fund supports technical assistance needs of smaller organizations. Organizations with annual expenses under $150,000 are eligible to apply. Applicants are asked to send seven copies of the application. No faxes or emails are accepted.
