Description

The Organization, formerly known as the Disability Communications Fund, supports community-based nonprofits, government agencies, and educational institutions in California that establish projects and programs designed to benefit the communication needs of Californians with disabilities of all ages. The Organization believes that the ability to communicate is a fundamental human right and it seeks to ensure that more people enjoy this right fully. The Organization has identified four funding priorities: training AT and AAC professionals; facilitating research and innovation; collaboration and exchange; and organizational capacity building.
