DescriptionThe Organization targets its funding toward creating or supporting new and innovative education projects. Early childhood education, technology, after-school mentoring, and higher education are all eligible for consideration. The Organization is interested in funding replications of its pilot programs, but will consider innovative projects that show promise of bringing about a change to the educational environment, have an evaluation plan, and can be easily replicated in other schools. Of particular interest are those that are responsive to the needs of individual schools and communities rather than those that target a systemwide reform process. Funding does not include money for operating grants. Additional information is available on the Web site.
