DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the fast food Restaurateur. The Foundation True Inspiration Awards honors and supports organizations from across the country that go above and beyond in the fields of innovative education, emerging leader development, and youth entrepreneurship. Award recipients must be making a difference in their communities in the areas of education, youth homelessness and poverty, and economic empowerment. Education grants seek to improve teaching and learning through ground-breaking practices and visionary leadership. Youth homelessness and poverty grants support programs outside of education that focus on providing direct services and support to young people and their families. Economic empowerment grants support organizations equipping youth with the real-world knowledge, skills, and experience they need to be successful in their careers and become thriving members of their communities.
