DescriptionThe Foundation supports nurses who specialize in treating cancer patients with the aim of improving the lives of people with or at risk for the disease. The Foundation’s Cancer Public Education Project will award grants to projects that enhance the public’s knowledge and awareness of cancer prevention, detection, and treatment modalities. Eligible applicants are registered nurses with an interest in, and commitment to, oncology nursing whose proposed project deals with some aspect of public cancer education and is not institution-specific.
