DescriptionThe Foundation’s Domestic Violence Shelter Grant Program seeks to help eliminate domestic violence. The Foundation annually awards a grant to at least one domestic violence shelter in every state that applies. Any remaining funds are distributed based on state population. Applicants must be operating an emergency shelter (immediate overnight housing) for survivors of domestic violence. Applications are reviewed and recommended by the Foundation’s Domestic Violence Shelter Grant Committee. Applications can be accessed on the Web site, which contains additional information on the Foundation and other grant programs.
