Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council

Description

The Council invites applications from nonprofits arts organizations in the 11-county region it serves for local arts education and access projects. This round of grantmaking will accept applications for the following categories: Arts & Culture Heritage, Presenter/Production Assistance, and Small Town/Rural Areas. Projects in those categories must have a focus on the fine arts (the development, education, performance, and/or showcasing of the arts) and must include an accessible public capstone event to benefit the citizens of southeastern Minnesota. Grants in the Arts & Cultural Heritage category are up to $10,000; the maximum Presenter/Production Assistance grants are $3,000 and the Small Town/Rural Areas grants are capped at $3,000. Nonprofits in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, and Winona counties are eligible to apply.
