Caring For Colorado Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation, formed from the sale of Blue Cross Blue Shield, has as it’s mission to promote health and improve health for the people of Colorado, helping to ensure that the people of Colorado are the healthiest in the nation. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in four categories: building health care capacity, strengthening health care systems, linking people to care, and promoting prevention. The current focus is on strengthening the primary care safety net, oral health, mental health, health professions, and care coordination and patient navigation. Of particular interest are evidence-based programs that produce meaningful health outcomes. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
