DescriptionThe Bank has launched a new, online grant application system designed to make it easier for nonprofits to seek charitable investments from it. High priority is placed on grants that benefit low-to-moderate income individuals and communities. Grants are awarded in these charitable giving categories: community and economic development; education and job training; health and human care; and civic and cultural. Nonprofits must serve the bank’s geographic areas; fit within its charitable giving categories; operate as an equal opportunity employer; be governed by a board of directors; and demonstrate fiscal and administrative stability. The bank has 700 branch locations and commercial banking officers in 19 Midwestern and Western states. Locations can be found in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
