DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the financial services firm. The Foundation provides direct grants to selected nonprofits that support Schwab’s commitment to financial literacy and respond to local cultural and social needs. It focuses its grantmaking on three areas: employee volunteer recommended nonprofits; nonprofits that perform community work corresponding to Foundation initiatives; and nonprofits that promote financial literacy. Priority will be given to organizations that already have Schwab employee volunteers. The more employees involved with the organization, the greater the opportunity to be considered for a direct grant.
