Description
Following in the footsteps of the popular Outcome Measurement I
program, this program goes into greater detail, providing participants
with a thorough examination of how outcome measurement works and how to
develop appropriate instruments to collect and analyze the data.
Instructor Hatry’s 30+ years of experience and leadership in
developing procedures for evaluating nonprofit and government services
has uniquely positioned him to address the practical, how-to side of
outcome measurement. Combining this hands-on experience with a wealth of
well-grounded knowledge of the principles involved, Hatry has all the
credentials necessary to deliver a well-thought-out, provocative
learning experience.

Objectives
Participants will

HARRY HATRY
Director, Management Program
Urban Institute, Washington, DC
Since the early 70’s, Harry has been a leader in developing
procedures for evaluation of nonprofit and government services.
In recent years, he has also worked to improve performance
measurement and management in other countries, including
Thailand and Hungary. He has authored or co-authored numerous
books, reports, and articles describing performance measurement
procedures, including publications for the U.S. Departments of
Education and Justice, the International City Management
Association, and United Way of America. He has received awards
for his work in performance measurement and evaluation from a
number of organizations. |
